French authorities have detained 780 individuals following widespread violent clashes that erupted across the country on Saturday night. The chaos followed Paris Saint-Germain's victory over Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final.

Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez confirmed that 57 police officers were injured during the confrontations. While most injuries were described as minor, the scale of the violence has drawn sharp condemnation from government officials.

Rioting was reported in approximately 15 cities. Participants engaged in arson, destroyed public property, and vandalized numerous shops.

In a particularly alarming development, a small group of rioters attempted to storm a police station in Paris. Security forces have been deployed in increased numbers to restore order as investigations into the disturbances continue.
