The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (OEK) has announced a major milestone for the nation's trade sector, securing official accreditation from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Chambers Federation (WCF).

This accreditation authorizes the OEK to issue "Made in Kosova" Certificates of Origin that carry global validity. This development is expected to significantly enhance the international credibility of goods produced in Kosovo.

"This is a historic day for Kosovo and its economy," the OEK stated in a formal announcement. "The 'Made in Kosova' Certificate of Origin now enjoys international recognition, marking a significant achievement for our local businesses and producers."

Beyond boosting the reputation of local products, the move aims to:

  • Strengthen export capacity by streamlining documentation.
  • Promote the digitalization of trade services to better serve the business community.
  • Provide concrete support to producers seeking to enter competitive global markets.

By aligning with international standards, Kosovo's business community aims to present its products with greater dignity and reliability on the world stage, fostering a new era for the country’s economic footprint.
