In a recent appearance on the "War Report" program on ABC News, General Dedë Prenga emphasized that the current international security order is facing unprecedented pressure, requiring a fundamental shift in how global alliances operate.

Adapting to the Russian Threat General Prenga noted that the evolving nature of global security, driven largely by the unpredictable actions of Russia, has made the adaptation of international alliances a mandatory task rather than a choice. "Changes in global security development have made it necessary for alliances to react to the situation regarding the actions that Russia might take," Prenga stated during the interview.

Nuclear Deterrence in Europe One of the most critical points raised by the General involved the potential for adjusting nuclear capabilities within the European theater. He suggested that this sensitive issue is expected to be addressed in upcoming international security meetings.

"The decision-making regarding the general deployment of real nuclear capabilities in Europe will be confirmed at the next meeting, which will reveal what has actually changed regarding the levels of these shifts," he added.

The Need for Strategic Unity General Prenga also underscored the importance of closer cooperation between the European continent's primary military powers: the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. He argued that a well-coordinated strategic plan is essential for maintaining stability.

"The United Kingdom, France, and Germany must cooperate. There must be a well-thought-out plan, and I believe that with time, the necessary political language will be found," concluded Prenga.
