The Ministry of Justice in North Macedonia hosted the sixth session of the Working Group for Electoral Legislation Reform this week. The meeting was marked by a constructive atmosphere, signaling a renewed commitment to consensus-building among key stakeholders.
Following the formal adoption of the previous session's minutes, members of the working group began a detailed review of proposals and feedback submitted by political parties, state institutions, regulatory bodies, and various civil society organizations.

The Ministry of Justice emphasized that the process remains strictly inclusive and transparent. Officials stated that the primary objective is to modernize the national electoral framework.
By aligning the legislation with European standards, the government aims to ensure that future electoral cycles are conducted with greater fairness, democratic integrity, and credibility.
