On June 2, 2026, the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of North Macedonia officially introduced a new institutional logo, marking a significant step in the modernization of its visual identity. The design was approved by the College of the Public Prosecutor's Office to reflect the organization's collective mission and structural integrity.

Symbolism and Design

The new logo features a sophisticated palette of dark blue and gold, chosen to evoke themes of trust, professional stability, and the dignity of justice. The design incorporates several key elements that define the institution’s role:

  • The Sword: Positioned centrally, it serves as a symbol of vigilance, determination, and the active protection of the law.
  • The Scales: Located on either side of the sword, they represent the core tenets of impartiality and the equal application of justice.
  • The Stars: A total of 24 stars appear in the design. Twenty-three represent the individual Basic Public Prosecutor's Offices across the country, while a central star symbolizes the specialized office for prosecuting Organized Crime and Corruption.
  • Connecting Cords: These represent the Higher Public Prosecutor's Offices, emphasizing the cohesion and communication within the legal system.

Institutional Vision

The new logo was unveiled at a conference in Skopje titled "From Strategy to Practice: Strengthening the Communication of the Public Prosecutor's Office with the Public." The event, supported by the "EU Support for the Rule of Law" project, underscored the institution's ongoing efforts to align with European standards.

"The redesign is not merely aesthetic; it is a commitment to a unified institutional voice that represents our shared mission of upholding the rule of law and protecting the public interest," stated a representative during the unveiling.
