TETOVO, North Macedonia — The Mayor of Tetovo, Bilall Kasami, has officially announced a new social initiative aimed at supporting local families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The municipality will provide a one-time grant of 100 euros for every child enrolling in the first grade.

Supporting Education and Families

This policy is designed to alleviate the financial burden on parents during the back-to-school season. By providing direct cash assistance, the municipal government aims to ensure that every child begins their formal education with the necessary supplies and support.

"Our priority is to invest in the future of our children and to stand by families in Tetovo by easing the costs associated with the start of their educational journey," stated Mayor Kasami.

Expanding Social Welfare

The initiative reflects a broader municipal strategy to improve social welfare and educational standards in the region. Local authorities expect this measure to benefit a significant number of households across the Tetovo municipality, fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for students as they enter the classroom for the first time.
