The initiative seeks to curb rising traffic accidents through educational materials, including video spots that highlight both legal mandates and the real-world consequences of negligence.
Key Traffic Regulations
To ensure road safety, authorities have emphasized the following mandatory rules for all electric scooter operators:
- Age Limit: Operators must be at least 14 years of age.
- Speed Limits: On designated bicycle paths, the speed must not exceed 25 km/h. When moving through areas intended for pedestrians, the speed is strictly capped at 6 km/h.
- Passenger Rules: Carrying additional passengers on a scooter is strictly prohibited.
- Visibility: Between dusk and dawn, or during periods of low visibility, operators are legally required to wear reflective or fluorescent clothing.
The campaign also incorporates medical evidence and personal testimonies from accident victims to underline the importance of these measures. Officials urge all citizens to adhere to these guidelines to ensure their own safety and the safety of others in traffic.
