The Hydrometeorological Service (HMS) has issued an alert for unstable weather across the country, which is expected to persist until the end of the week. While mornings will feature a mix of clouds and sunny intervals, afternoons are set to bring localized instability, including heavy downpours, thunder, and gusty winds.

Today, western regions will experience particularly strong westerly winds, with speeds occasionally exceeding 60 km/h. Morning temperatures are forecast to range between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius, climbing to daily highs of 20 to 32 degrees.

In Skopje, residents should prepare for similar conditions. While the capital will enjoy sunny periods, there is a distinct possibility of short-lived rain and thunderstorms in the valley during the afternoon. The temperature in Skopje is expected to reach a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologists highlight that the most intense weather events are expected this coming Thursday and Saturday. During these periods, localized storms may include more concentrated rainfall and the potential for hail. Authorities advise citizens to remain cautious during the afternoon hours when the weather is most volatile.
