North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski officially confirmed the resignation of Arben Fetai, who served as the Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance and Transparency.
Speaking on the transition, Mickoski noted that the formal resignation will be processed on June 2, 2026. The Prime Minister stated that the selection of a successor for the vacant post will be determined following internal consultations with coalition partners.
Addressing the broader political climate, the Prime Minister reaffirmed that a government reconstruction is scheduled to take place throughout the month of June. While Mickoski did not disclose specific details regarding the scope of the reshuffle, he emphasized that the process would involve close coordination with all members of the governing coalition.
In his statement, Mickoski thanked Fetai for his service and professional cooperation during his tenure. Reports suggest that Fetai is expected to return to professional engagements involving European Union institutions, leveraging his background in the sector.
