Addressing a large crowd in Rahovec, President Vjosa Osmani, the LDK candidate for a second presidential term, declared that Kosovo stands at a decisive crossroads. She emphasized that the upcoming elections are not merely a contest between individuals, but a fundamental choice regarding the state's future governance model.
"We are deciding on the model of the state we will have for the coming decades: whether we will have a Republic with institutions that balance each other, or a system where everything depends on a single political hand," Osmani stated.
Highlighting the need for stability, Osmani argued that Kosovo cannot afford to remain trapped in cycles of political tension. Instead, she advocated for a government that focuses on construction rather than experimentation, particularly in the face of shifting global and regional dynamics.
During the event, Osmani formally presented Lumir Abdixhiku as the candidate for Prime Minister. She praised him as a representative of a new, well-educated, and experienced generation of leadership capable of delivering concrete results.
Concluding her address, the President underscored the importance of strengthening the family unit and the role of women in the economy. She reaffirmed her commitment to a policy that positions the family as the nation's most vital investment, with the state acting as a supportive partner rather than a burden.
